Nancy Pelosi Just Said Working-Class Americans Are ‘Pathetic’ And ‘Insignificant’

Thanks to a long and profitable career serving her wealthy constituents in Northern California, former Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has become a multi-millionaire.

Pelosi, who appears to be increasingly mentally unfit for the job of congresswoman, has gotten so out of touch that another Democrat even attempted to boot her from her perch as House Minority Leader.

Unfortunately for the Democratic Party, Rep. Pelosi has continued her work of completely alienating many working-class Americans from the party that they used to vote for.

Given how rich she is. Rep. Pelosi does not understand how important the bonuses and tax savings that working-class Americans are receiving thanks to the tax bill are to them.

According to Pelosi, the amount they are getting is “pathetic” and “insignificant,” which would only seem true to someone who has millions of dollars.

Said the congresswoman in a recent speech about the tax bill, “A number of bonuses — one of the bonuses was in a union contract and then they added a little more money to that.

That same firm just told the employees they were going to be laying off 1,500 people and if they wanted to save their jobs, they could work 32 hours.”

She went on, “In terms of the bonus that corporate America receives versus the crumbs they are giving to workers to put the schmooze on is so pathetic. And I would hope with their big advantage of bringing home at a very low rate that they would invest in infrastructure but our experience has been they will seek dividends and buy-backs. It is insignificant.”
